GearMax® Invades the 2010 Jamboree
Over 400 Boy Scouts from across Virginia have
something very different to use while attending the 2010 Jamboree at Fort AP Hill, Virginia this month....GearMax® Backpacks.
Purchased specifically for the event by the Heart of Virginia Council, the packs were part of the Jamboree package and all were embroidered with individual troop logos.
The M series, with the ability to hold 1.6 cubic feet of gear and - with just one zip - expand into
a hanging locker system that will keep all that gear sorted and organized, is proving to be very
popular with the local scouts. The ability to hang open keeps the pack off the ground and hangs
nicely inside a tent when needed. The end result is dry clothing and gear.
GearMax® is no stranger to the troops here in Virginia, many have used the GearMax® packs for years.
Not only has the M Series proved very popular as
an individual scout bag, the XL Series is fast
becoming recognized as a great "Troop Bag" with its ability to hold a huge amount of support gear
for camping expeditions.
Like all GearMax® products, these can also be
custom embroidered by any local embroidery
shop.

More than 45,000 scouts from across the nation are
attending the event.
This year is a milestone for the organization. The Boy
Scouts of America is celebrating 100 Years of Scouting.
